Hi, I’m Suzi.

I’m a CFA Charterholder (finance girl) living in beautiful Kelowna, BC, but my passion is in something far more rustic and nourishing: freshly milled sourdough bread. This journey started in a pretty personal place. For years, I struggled with gut issues—bloating, indigestion, fatigue—especially whenever I ate bread. I knew I was eating well, so it never made sense to me why my body felt so off.

That frustration pushed me to start digging deeper. I began researching the difference between freshly milled flour and the store‑bought flour I’d always assumed was “good enough.” What I discovered changed everything. Freshly milled flour isn’t just flour—it’s alive with nutrients, flavour, and benefits that get lost the moment flour sits on a shelf. It supports digestion, offers more vitamins and minerals, and brings back the richness and depth that grains are meant to have.

Once I started baking my own freshly milled sourdough, my gut health shifted dramatically. My energy improved. My body felt nourished in a way I hadn’t experienced in years. And the flavour… honestly, it’s on a whole different level.

Now, this has become more than a personal transformation. It’s a mission. I want to bring this kind of bread—real, vibrant, freshly milled bread—to my community here in Kelowna. I want people to experience what I did: food that feels good, tastes incredible, and reconnects us to something simple and meaningful.

I hope you’ll join me on this bread journey. There’s so much goodness to share.
